You’ve been sticking to your workouts, you’re feeling fit and fabulous! It really is ‘New Year, New You!’
But wait, there’s just one thing that you can’t quite seem to nail…
Getting enough fruits and veggies.
If you’re not someone that likes veggies or you don’t typically cook at home, it can be hard (almost impossible!) to get everything you need from your diet. Even worse, those pre-packaged, processed foods will actually be harming your health (thanks to added unpronounceable nasties!) and let’s be honest, nothing at all beats fresh veggies for filling you full of vitamins and minerals! Rather than telling you to ditch the chocolate and suddenly turn into a raw-food-only master chef, what we would suggest is to just start small. Start by adding in one large juice every single day. You will be getting an instant hit of the good stuff and as a result you will sleep better, look better and feel better. When you have incorporated this habit into your lifestyle you can then aim even higher, aim to cook one meal per day from fresh seasonable vegetables and lean good quality protein, from scratch. As we’re aiming to show right now with our New Year New You challenge, it takes 6 weeks to form a habit, stick with something for a little more than a month and you will likely stick with it for a much longer period of time, hopefully forever!
To help you along here are my top 3 juice combos;
1 | Green Giant
2 | Antioxidant Blast – With this one you juice the apple, pineapple, spinach and beetroot. Then add the juice along with the other ingredients to a blender and away you go!
