Do you ever find yourself rushing through your mealtimes? Or perhaps you get to the end of a busy day completely starving and craving a sugar fix because you skipped a meal? Mindful eating is the act of truly paying attention to what we are eating, when and why. In this session, Julie will explain how a mindful approach to eating can greatly improve your habits and behavior around food. Follow her simple mindful eating exercise at your next meal and you will become more conscious of the way your body reacts to your food choices and the manner in which you eat.
5. Body Awareness: 5-Minute Relaxation Technique
For times when you are feeling a little overwhelmed or anxious, this five minute body awareness exercise will bring you back to the present moment and free you from stressful thoughts. This relaxation exercise can be done at any time of day and is most effective when you sit in a chair with your feet firmly on the floor; but find the most comfortable seated position that works for you. Give yourself this little break to feel calm, happy and balanced.

Creativity can be expressed in many forms, through art, words, writing, music, design - the list goes on. In this exercise you will access the creative side of your mind mind, by practicing some creative writing, imagination and visualization. You can go-ahead and find a piece of paper and a pen to write down your thoughts or you can do this exercise as a visualization with your eyes closed.
