Next, have a set bed time and stick to it. The TV is not a go to option. Yes do watch TV but don't get sucked into a series or movie that finishes after your set bedtime. Listen to meditation type Grokker video. Try Andrew Johnson, Stacy Conlon or Natasha Kerry. They are all here on Grokker.
Now is time you take charge of your life. Best of all...the Grokker community is here to help. Thank you for reaching out on this occassion. Sue

Hi Deepa, I have a couple ideas that you may like to try. Are you looking at the amount of work you as nothing but a huge mountain? Instead of looking at it as a huge mountain break it down into threes. Urgent, medium and low priority. Pick off the urgent, then the medium and then the low priority. You can also do this with emails. Open your inbox, create 3 files - high, medium and low. Now glance at all of the emails and prioritize them into high, medium and low. File for each one as to the priority you give it and sort through the high, medium and low emails. That way your inbox is not overflowing and therefore not overwhelming. Do this 3 times per day.
Now set aside time of day for you. Mine is 5.00am - 6.00am everyday. This is my time to exercise. This could be cardio, weights, group fitness and just a simple walk. (see Ellen Barett, Grokker expert). Make sure you eat lunch everyday at work away from your desk. This is not optional but an absolute must. Perhaps leftovers from dinner the night before. There are some great recipes here on Grokker. Take time on the weekend, make a menu plan for the week and shop to that list. It takes the stress out of the trip home as to what dinner will be. Look for recipes that take 30 minutes or less.
