I need strengthening poses. I can do bridge with no problem. My arms do not want to engage to go into wheel.

Hi Connie Barrett, Here's a video by Rocky Heron that focuses on building some upper body strength - mainly chest and tricep strength. This should help you not only with Wheel Pose, but also with Chaturanga Dandasana, Headstand, Arm Balances etc.

I haven't tried Christy Evans "Wheel: Basic Practice" yet, but I have tried a lot of her other videos. She is a great instructor! I couldnt agree more with Debbie Coldiron. She does sequence/structure her classes very well.

Enjoy exploring the Wheel Pose!

Hi Connie Barrett. I spoke to one of our in-house experts. She highly recommends the video I've attached. It's one of her favorites because Christy breaks it down against the wall which is really helpful for beginners. Good luck!

Thanked by Connie
