Meditative, long held stretches bypass superficial muscle layers to penetrate deep into connective tissues and joints. Passive postures are typically supported with props, and practiced close to the floor to feel fully received and held by gravity, and the earth beneath. In Yin yoga, you'll take mindful time to explore the edges of your tolerance, in a safe, quiet, and deeply healing space. In this yin yoga class you will focus on stretching your wrists and feet. Give your extremities some much needed love and attention to improve circulation and ease any pain you may be feeling from working at a computer all day. By holding each pose for an extended period of time, you'll feel more lasting relief after class.
3. Chest, Arms & Upper Back Yin Yoga
This yin yoga class is designed to open your chest, arms, and upper back in order to create space and reduce tension. Many of our daily activities such as sitting at a computer or behind the wheel of a car cause us to hunch and round our backs, causing pain. This practice will counteract the effects of these activities and build strength.

Today you will be taken through a wonderful and soothing yin yoga class that will help relax and ease tension in your back. By holding poses for prolonged periods you will lengthen your spine, reduce your stress levels, and finish this class feeling rejuvenated and energized.

In this yin yoga class you will focus on forgiveness. As you hold supported floor poses we will explore the question, “What in us is asking for forgiveness?” We’ll move through a guided visualization to deeply relax the entire body.
7. Yin Yoga for Surrendering to Love
