I am following the Slim Down & Master Vinyasa series - I started a regular yoga practice about 3 months ago - I've been attending classes at least 4 days per week. My New Year's goal is to continue this program and improve my practice! I want to learn how to master some of the more difficult postures and work on my balance - a weak spot for me! More balance in my yoga practice - more balance in my life!

Balance - so simple in theory, yet so difficult in practice, but it sounds like you are off to a great start! Here's a great collection of videos our CEO Lorna Borenstein put together to help develop arm balance -https://grokker.com/yoga/collection/yoga-to-help-develop-arm-balance/51e021abccbacbe05e0001c1. Check it out!

My wellness goal for 2015 is to continue my juicing regimen and build muscle definition. For my birthday I want to "WOW" my husband with my results. New Year: new fitness mentality, new and healthy goals, new overall outlook. My target weight for 2016 is 50 lbs. lighter but stronger. My goal is to get the family into gear and be more fit for better health. To a healthy 2015!!

Although i been working out six days a week without fail so far and eating overall healthy that is not my resolution. I decided to opt for a more fun one. To use six new healthy ingredients i never used before in 2015 so that i could get excited about cooking healthy. I love to cook different foods. My first ingredient I have used is dates instead of sugar :)

Best of luck to you! I just heard a quote from Joel Olsteen that went something like this, "they're not stumbling blocks, they're stepping stones". Be kind(but firm) with yourself. Namaste

My fitness resolution for 2015 is to increase flexibility; specifically, I want to be able to bend over and touch the floor with little to no effort or strain. I want to also work on my balance so that once I can touch the floor, I will be able to have better form in my yoga poses.

Hi Veronica. Here's one of our favorite balance and flexibility yoga videos -https://grokker.com/yoga/video/balance-101/518bcff6e7d789e7240226a2. Laura is great, but seriously, how can anyone be that flexible!?! Gives us something to strive for...

My new year fitness resolution for the last five years or so has been to do full press ups rather than the on your knees kind. Still trying, still only manage a couple and not very low. I have trouble putting muscles on the upper body, whereas the lower body does just fine. Here is to trying again and again. Cheers and happy New year to all at grokker.

Happy New Year Marielle! Give this Maggi Lane video a try -https://grokker.com/fitness/video/basic-daily-exercise-for-everyday-movement/5165f6b0a02e96e47b00ddad - she does a relly nice job queing the movements which may help you as you are developing the upper body strength to do full push-ups.

My wellness quote is to get lean and confident!
Happy New Year Chloe! Give Jaime's Tone and Trim series a try to help you get lean - https://grokker.com/fitness/tips/jaime-mcfaden-tone-trim-grokker. I hear you on the confidence. Here's a quote about confidence I read recently that I really like - “Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong.”
