Juicing is a wonderful way to get your daily allowance of fruits and vegetables, not to mention all of the anti-oxidants, vitamins, and digestive enzymes that will keep you healthy! In this Grokker Premium video, Raw Living Expert Leah Putnam shares a green drink that you will love. If you want, add a dash of cayenne pepper and ginger to give it a little added kick.

Cooking Recipe

Servings: 1- 2
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Ready In: 10 minutes
Make Sure You Have: A juicer or high speed blender and juice or nut bag.

Ingredients:
2 large cucumbers
2 stalks of celery
4-6 leaves of dinosaur kale (Lacinato)
1 whole apple (Pippin preferred)
1 whole lemon
1€ gingerroot (optional)
Dash of cayenne (optional)

Directions:
1. Cut up your vegetables and fruits so that they will fit into your juicer.

2. Start by juicing the cucumber and celery, then add in the apple, lemon juice, and kale.

3. After you have juiced the vegetables and fruits add the ginger for taste.

4. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the juice, stir, and serve.
