Thx for response, but I don't think it's right. Search for "Robert Jones"; there is one at Level 1 whose avatar is filled in blue, even though he is at Level 1. What does the blue filling mean?
The blue filled in is an image the user uploaded. It does not relate to levels in Grokker.
