Does it do the body good to practice these stretches at the beginning and end of the day?

Stretching at the beginning of the day can relieve tension or pain from sleeping the night before and can increase your blood flow and prepare your body for the day ahead. Then stretching at the end of the day relaxes your muscles and helps prevent you from waking up with more pain.
