I have watched a few videos on nutrition and weight. Any advice on alternate day fasting? What's the right average weight loss per week to aim for?

Opinion: 1 pound/week is more sustainable and less likely to result in regaining the weight during maintenance (after reaching your goal).

I've always read or been told by nutritionists, losing 2 pounds a week is a good measure for weight loss. You may lose 5 pounds the first week as the body adjusts.
