Hi, Barb - Welcome to Grokker! If you ask this question to 20 people, you'll get 20 different answers. For me personally, I would say that during my past seven months on Grokker, the two offerings that "really worked for me" (as you asked) are (a) yoga and (b) cooking. I knew little about both when I joined seven months ago, and I am tremendously grateful for all that Grokker has taught me! If you are trying to figure out where to start first, I sympathize! Here are two steps that might help:
(a) In the fitness and yoga categories, try the "Webcam Workouts" program. This programs offers ten 10-minute videos taught by five different instructors/teams in five different genres. This program will expose you to a variety of options and help you figure out what you like. All of the instructors/teams have more videos on Grokker - - so after you try out the "Webcam Workouts" program, you will be able to continue with whichever instructor/team you decide you like. https://grokker.com/fitness/program/webcam-workouts/5eb44594f680b63b2aab394e
(b) For more general tips, maybe try taking the "wellness quiz". I think that after users take that quiz, Grokker provides personalized suggestions for videos that might help:
