As a Christian, I don't participate in Yoga/Yoga poses since that are a form of Hinduism/poses are linked to deities. Why do so many of your session use yoga? Sleep session under MIND are all yoga

Hello Loretta, I was raised to believe the same thing about yoga! I found many yoga poses to be related to animals and their natural way of stretching and releasing muscle tension. In my own physical pain and struggles, I have found that meditation and body movements can be focused on or towards anything (even Jesus Christ) if you choose. Our bodies are created in the image of God and should be treated as temples (I Cor. 6:19-20, Eph 5:29-30). Being able to find pain relief, peace, and calm while breathing and moving in a gentle way (like in yoga) can be a way to praise God and care for our bodies and our minds all at the same time! I have also found and appreciate that all world religions are based in love :)

For this reason, I do think having more Pilates and other highlighted forms of exercises is a good idea. We do have a large variety of cultures and beliefs in our department as well.
