I regularly practice yoga and lately when I am in a pose for a while (esp. forward fold) I experience intense tingling in my legs and feet. It's not painful but sometimes I can't even feel my feet

Hi Samara,

I practice regularly too, and two things come to mind when reading your question. First is, you might try to improve your blood circulation. Cain Carroll's tao flow is great for this. Second is, perhaps something is misaligned and is resulting in pain. I've added Siri's standing poses video because it's a great reminder of lower body alignment. I hope that helps!

Hi Samara, When you are feeling tingling in your legs and feet and then numbing, you may be overly rounding you low back. The natural curve of your low back is lordotic, it curves in toward your spine. Often, students are focused on straightening the legs not making sure the low back curve is present. Try bending your knees, in forward bends, while keeping them strong. And feel, for you low lumbar curve while you are in forward bend. I hope this helps! Namaste, Rebecca
