Ingredients:
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 pound ground veal
2 tbsp plain breadcrumbs
2 tbsp grated Parmesan
1 egg
2 tsp chopped parsley
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
Olive oil, for grill pan
Sliced mozzarella cheese
Soft kaiser rolls
Tomato sauce, warmed
Basil leaves
Directions:
1.Preheat griddle brushed with a thin layer of oil to medium-high.
2.Combine ground beef, pork, veal, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, onion powder, parsley, salt and pepper. Form into 3/4 pound patties.
3.Grill patties for 3 minutes, flip, and top with 2 slices mozzarella each. Cover burgers and cook another 3-4 minutes until cooked through and the cheese is melted. Toast bun on the griddle. Place burger on bun, top with warmed tomato sauce and basil leaves.
