What is a good program for someone with rheumatoid arthritis? Problem areas are primarily hands, wrists, shoulders and feet, but can change daily.

Hi Michelle! I have RA as well and I found this video to be very easy on both the knees and wrists (unusual for a yoga video). I will also frequently search "pain" to find good videos for people with injuries.

Hi Michelle Stieber. I'm sorry that you have to deal with RA! I do understand that exercise can help reduce pain. Although I cannot provide you with medical advice on what may be best for you, I can suggest a few programs.

We have a great walking program for a beginner/intermediate level: https://grokker.com/fitness/cardio/program/walk-strong-low-impact-cardio-with-ellen-barrett/5887e4e30eeec67481fa03fa

You may also want to consider a yoga program: https://grokker.com/yoga/program/yoga-basics-the-beginner-s-guide-with-celest/57dbf89c96a02c934191d5a6 or https://grokker.com/yoga/beginners/program/beginner-s-guide-to-yoga-with-michael-james-wong/5727bea7ae15771574119c49

Here's a program called "Let's Get Moving" which offers a variety of stretching and movement: https://grokker.com/fitness/flexibility-and-balance/program/let-s-get-moving-with-jaime-mcfaden/566600e076f8814d51bba460

I've also attached some videos that may help with stretching and circulation.

Thanked by Michelle
