1. Grab two deli container lids. Place one on your cutting surface, the lip of the lid facing up, and fill it with cherry tomatoes. Place the other lid on top of your cherry tomatoes, sandwiching them in.
2. Grab your chef’s knife - make sure it’s long and sharp. Run your knife through the clear space between the two lids in a smooth, level motion. Take the lid off and (voila!) you’ve got a dozen evenly cut cherry tomatoes.
