1. Cut the bread into cubes. Place them into a baking tray and toast them in the oven for 5 minutes.
2. In a medium-high heated pan saute the onion, celery, and garlic.
3. In a large mixing bowl add the croutons, golden raisin, fresh herbs, the cooked onions, celery, and garlic. Pour the egg, milk and chicken broth mixture into the mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper and stir well.
4. In a baking pan, grease the pan with butter and dump the stuffing into the pan. Place dots of butter all over the stuffing. Place it in a 400°F oven for 30 minutes and bake it to a nice crust then turn down the heat to 350°F for 25 minutes.
