Balsamic & Fresh Mint Sauce for Roast Lamb

Explore this simple sauce recipe that is a must for roast or grilled lamb, and works especially well with Lamb Wellington. Executive Chef Geoff Rigby in this Grokker Premium video shows us how to reduce balsamic vinegar for a delicious sauce base, and then adds freshly chopped mint to bring it all together. Try it on your next roasted meal.

Cooking Recipe

Servings: 4
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ready In: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup (8 & 3/4 fl oz) (250ml) of Balsamic Vinegar
Handful of Chopped Mint

Directions:
1. Pour 1 cup (250ml) of balsamic vinegar into a pan and bring to the boil. Allow it to reduce to approx. half the volume. At this stage the bubbles will be slower to pop resulting in a thicker consistency.

2. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Finally add a good handful of freshly chopped mint. This sauce is wonderful with roast lamb or cutlets.
