Adding more flavor while being healthy is a very tough thing to do. Try this technique to add a deep nutty roasted flavor to your healthy vegan meals. Chef and Ayurvedic Practitioner Talya Lutzker shares her secrets to bringing out a deeper flavor in your favorite spices in this Grokker Premium video.
Directions: 1. Place a heavy skillet or saucepan on the stove over medium-high heat.
2. Add whatever combination of spices that you like. For example, equal parts ground cumin, turmeric and cardamom.
3. Stir the spices around with a wooden spatula so they dont burn.
4. Cook for about one minute, or until the spice aroma is very strong.
