Summer is in full swing, and if the heat is getting you down, try this! A refreshing Mexican Fruit Salad, with a chili powder kick! A great combo, anytime of day! This salad is inspired by the awesome fruit carts in Los Angeles that often times are near the entrances to the insane freeway system of the city. It certainly is a healthy, delicious way to start your day on the way to work and also takes your mind off the mad rush hour traffic that will ensue!

Cooking Recipe

Servings: 8-10
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cantaloupe, cubed
½ watermelon, cubed
1 pineapple, cubed
2 mangoes, sliced
½ bunch grapes
1 jicama, sliced
1 cucumber, halved and sliced
Juice of 2 limes
2 tbsp chile powder
1 tbsp salt

Directions:
1. Mix together all the ingredients in a bowl and serve chilled.
