Ready In: 1 hour 10 minutes
Ingredients:
2 tbsp butter
¾ cups onions, diced
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
2 lbs lean ground beef
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1-2 tsp seasoning salt
½ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp dry mustard
½ tsp marjoram or oregano
½ tsp of thyme
3-4 tbsp fresh parsley ( I used dried, but fresh tastes better in this)
¼ cup BBQ sauce ( I used Sweet Baby Rays)
¼ cup chili sauce
1-2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
½ cup whole milk
3 slices wheat bread, toasted, crumbled
Glaze:
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup chili sauce
1 cup Chargrill BBQ Sauce
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until almost tender, Add garlic and cook for 1 minutes. Pour onions, garlic and butter into a large bowl and let cool.
3. Add remaining ingredients to the bowl, (except for the glaze ingredients). Use your hands to mix together.
4. Fry up a small portion of the meat as a €test patty€ to make sure the seasonings are good. Place the meat mixture into a loaf pan. Mix together glaze ingredients.
5.Spread half of the glaze mixture on the meatloaf. Bake for 30 minutes.
6. Remove from oven and spread on the rest of the glaze.
7. Bake for another 30 minutes or until the meatloaf is ready.
8. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Enjoy!
