1 stick or 8 tbsp of softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 & 1/2 cups almond meal (almond flour)
1 & 1/2 tsp baking powder
Powdered sugar for dusting (and fresh fruit for decorating if you want)
1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
2. Add the softened butter into the mixer then add 3/4 cup of sugar, and the vanilla extract. Cream together the butter mixture and after couple minutes add in the eggs and blend for a few more minutes.
3. Stop the mixer and add in the almond flour and baking powder. Blend some more.
4. Once the batter is blended well, place it in a cake baking pan. If you're working with a thick batter, place more in the middle and it will even out in the oven.
5. Flip the cake upside down to take it out of the baking pan. Place the strawberries on top and dust some powder sugar and your ready to serve!
