Ingredients:
5 pieces of sourdough bread
2 whole eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1 tbsp butter
topping of your choice - syrup, whipped cream, berries, etc.
Directions:
1. In a bowl crack your eggs, milk, brown sugar, salt, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Whisk it very well so all the flavors are evenly incorporated.
2. Slice your bread and heat up a low-medium pan with butter. Dip the bread in the mixture and place in the pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.
3. Place them on paper towel to remove any excess oil so they don't get soggy. Plate them up and top with any of the things you love, such as syrup, whipped cream or berries.
