As part of the Tone and Trim series, Jaime McFaden prepares a smoothie that is high in protein and low in carbs and fat, making this sweet treat a nutrient-packed meal that only tastes decadent. Restore your muscles or make an on-the-go breakfast in only one minute in this Grokker Premium video.

Cooking Recipe

1 scoop chocolate whey protein
1 cup almond milk
½ cup Arctic Zero mint chocolate ice cream
1 drop peppermint extract, or 5 fresh mint leaves
½ cup ice

First, add your ice to the blender. Arctic Zero protein-packed ice cream is added next. This ice cream is low in carbs, calories, and fat, making it a healthy and delicious protein boost. Fresh mint leaves or a drop of peppermint extract will add refreshing mint flavor to balance the chocolate. Chocolate whey isolate protein powder adds needed nutrients. Almond milk, or another milk of your choice, provides necessary liquid for blending and seals in the flavor.

Blend all ingredients for 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on how thick you like your smoothie. For a thicker smoothie, blend for less time.
