1 kg diced beef
1 chopped onion
4-6 medium potatoes
200g chopped bacon
2 cloves diced garlic
1 cup beef stock
1 cup vegetable stock
1 heaped tablespoon tomato paste
½ beer -- amber or dark ale
1/3 cup flour
1. In a bag put in the beef and flour mix it together.
2. In a pot add in vegetable oil, bacon, onion, and garlic. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add in the beef mixture and stir it together well.
3. Add in the beef stock when the beef is cooked. Also add in the vegetable stock, beer, and tomato paste. Let it cook for 40 - 60 minutes.
4. Add in the potatoes and then cook for another 10 minutes.
5. Serve and enjoy!
