Hummus Made Easy

This is a very easy recipe for a basic Hummus that we just love! It is great as a dip or spread. Serve with some crakers, pita bread or pita chips or just replace it with butter on toasts! You just can’t go wrong with this.

Cooking Recipe

Yields: 1 bowl
Cook Time: 0
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ready In: 5 minutes

1, 15 oz can Garbanzo Beans aka Chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 cloves Garlic, crushed
2 tbsp (or more to taste) Tahini (Sesame Seed Paste)
1/4 tsp or to taste Salt
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Water
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Roasted Pine Nuts

1. Add Garbanzo Beans, Garlic, Tahini, Salt to a food processor or blender.

2. Once roughly ground, add water, lemon juice and olive oil.

3. Blend into a smooth paste, pushing down the sides in the food processor.

4. To serve, spread on a platter and drizzle olive oil, sprinkle chopped parsley and roasted pine nuts.
