Lean proteins are the building blocks for muscle and as we get older it is that much more crucial to eat lean proteins to maintain muscle mass. By doing this, we prevent injury well into our later years and have a better quality of life by having the ability to do more things.

Cooking Recipe

Ingredients:
4 salmon filets (about 6 oz each)
1/2 cup pesto (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
