Because free weights engage agreater amount of muscle mass to maintain balance and stability while performing an exercise, you also burn more calories.
2. Full Body Activation
In the second workout in the 21-Day Athlete program Pace and Go will lead you through a full body activation with a focus on core strength and engagement. A strong core is key to building functional fitness and will allow you to perform all exercises with greater stability, strength and balance.
3. Bodyweight Total Body #1
Total Body #1 kicks the Evolution6 program off right with low-impact exercises designed to work your entire body in just 20 minutes. With moves like single leg deadlifts with a toe touch, you're sure to work up a sweat and have fun doing it.
4. Bodyweight Lower Body #2
Lower Body #2 will help you build strength in your lower body, from the core down. With bursts of cardio throughout the workout, you'll also get calorie busting cardiovascular benefits in just 20 minutes, using only your body weight.
5. Bodyweight Lower Body #1
Lower Body #1 will primarily focus on building strength in the lower half of your body with moves like reverse lunges with a thrust. But don't be deceived, you're still going to work every inch of your body in just 20 minutes using just your body weight.
6. Bodyweight Total Body #2
Total Body #2 is designed to work every inch of your body in under 20 minutes through optimized circuit blocks of upper body, lower body, cardio, and core.
7. Bodyweight Total Body #5
Total Body #5 is the most challenging workout of the Evolution6 program with moves like bear that test your stability, strength and endurance. Get your workout done in just 20 minutes, using your body weight only, no excuses.
8. Stabilization + Endurance 2
Kelly Lee is taking you Back to the Basics of Strength Training. This second workout in the series continues to focus on building proper form while gaining strength, and tightening and toning you from head to toe. You'll learn how to safely perform multi-muscle exercises such as single leg deadlifts with a curl to help build that booty and upper body strength, and get you on your way to a stronger, healthier you.
9. HIIT #5 - Performance
Get ready to do some really dynamic moves - over 16 different movements. Put everything you've learned in Sarah's other workouts into action. Grab your hand weights - if you have them, for a greater challenge - and have some fun. This workout offers a ton of variety with no repeating the same move twice.
10. Cardio Core #4 - Combo
Jumpstart your metabolism with a lot of movement! This workout consists of a 10-minute Tabata-style (20-seconds on/10-seconds off) cardio session, followed by 13 minutes of core work. This is a great full body workout that will get your heart rate up and then focus on toning and sculpting the abs. Get after it and enjoy!
