Tabata is a form of high intensity interval training (HIIT). The workouts involve 20 seconds of high intensity followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated eight times. Studies show that Tabata training provides superior aerobic and anaerobic training effects compared to moderate intensity training. That means you can get better results – stronger and leaner - in less time! Try this workout twice a week for a month and you will begin to see amazing changes to your physique.

Equipment Needed: Dumbbells (optional), Bench or Chair

3 Minute Warm-up

Workout Details:
8 Rounds of the following exercises:
Squats (with or without weights)
Push-Ups
Crunches
Burpees
Thrusters (with or without weights)
Planks/Mountain Climbers
Dips

Each exercise round is 4 minutes long with a one minute rest between rounds. Each exercise is performed for 20 seconds at a high intensity, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated eight times.
