Roasted Tomatillo & Avocado Green Salsa

Another great kick to your grill party! This green salsa has incredible flavors of tomatillos, green onions, jalapenos, onions, avocado, and cilantro. Grilling Expert Doc Ward shares another quick and easy recipe in this Grokker Premium video.

Cooking Recipe

2 green onions
4 husked tomatillos
2 seeded jalapeño peppers
1 halved onion
3 peeled cloves of garlic
½ avocado
Pinch of cilantro

1. Start off by prepping your vegetables. Take the green onions and cut the ends off. Husk 4 tomatillos and cut your jalapenos in half and take out all the seeds. Finally cut a whole onion in half, take the skin off and you’re ready to grill.

2. Place all the vegetables on the grill and roast them till they have a lot of good dark colors and feels spongy.

3.Using a hand blender, blend all of the roasted vegetables together. Add couple cloves of garlic for some kick. Once you have the ingredients blended add ½ avocado to the salsa and hit it once again with the hand blender.

4. Add in a pinch of cilantro and blend it again. Plate it, top it off with a little more cilantro and your ready to serve!
