In today’s session, we’ll practice shifting our focus from what is going wrong to what is going right. All of our brains have what is called a negativity bias – meaning we’re more inclined to focus on what could go wrong than what could go right. Fortunately, research shows we can shift this, and that’s what we’ll practice today.
Instructions
Start by finding a relaxed posture – this could be sitting, lying down, or even standing. If it feels comfortable, you can close your eyes.
