Peace – It does not mean to be in a place where this is no noise, trouble or hard work. I like this, because it points to a different kind of calmness that is not dependent on external conditions. We can be with it all and be grounded in our heart. Meditation helps us find this calm, every time we learn to be with thoughts, emotions, sensations in a nonjudgmental way, the better we can be with all of it.
Start by finding a relaxed posture – this could be sitting, lying down, or even standing. If it feels comfortable, you can close your eyes.
