Some of us are comfortable in silence, and others of us are terrified. It's very easy to distract ourselves with technology, noise, and conversations – not that this is intrinsically bad, but that too much can lead to disconnection from the present moment and those around us. Today’s meditation will be about the power of silence, with longer periods of silence and guidance to help settle into and feel comfortable with silence.
Start by finding a relaxed posture – this could be sitting, lying down, or even standing. If it feels comfortable, you can close your eyes.
