In the ancient Hindu medical system of Ayurveda a “dosha” is one of three bodily humors that makes up one’s constitution: vata, pitta, and kapha. Tailored to the pita dosha, this class is meant to balance aggressive & firey personalities by incorporating long held postures into a generous, steady vinyasa. Pitta is the energy of transformation; people with this primary dosha type tend to go full throttle in life and in yoga. But too much fire can make for an irritable, competitive mentality. This class is perfect for when you just want balance the ambitious type with a challenging, yet fun flow.

Equipment

You will need two yoga blocks and your yoga mat.
