For the first lesson of the program, Julie will relieve lower back pain with a yoga sequence designed to gently decompress the lumbar spine and release hip tension and tightness in the Quadratus Lumborum muscle.

Equipment

Grab a yoga mat or thick towel if you're practicing on a hard surface to cushion your back and joints. Yoga bolster is optional.

Moves:
- Easy Seated Twist (Sukhasana twist)
- Cat-Cow Stretch (Marjaryasana/Bitilasana)
- Child’s Pose (Balasana)
- Reclined Figure Four Stretch
- Reclined Supine Twist
- Reclined Savasana with Bent Knees (bolster under knees if needed)
